I’ve visited Launceston a coupe of times in the last week and had a look at the new bike lanes that are being rolled out in the city. Have a look at what cycling south has written up for the details: http://www.cyclingsouth.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=48&Itemid=79 I was particularly impressed with the level of car congestion in the city and can only guess that this will lead to a great uptake in cycling on the new lanes.
